Inspired by a European streetscape, The Kerks' design concept incorporates the contemporary use of traditional materials such as brick. A lattice structure over the exterior courtyard in fills the space with a pitched roof form, and the exterior corridors are sheltered by a perforated metal screen that could provide support for a green wall.
